One of East Yorkshire’s largest domestic cleaning franchise businesses is celebrating 20 years’ in business with the appointment of its 20th member of staff as the business continues to expand.
First launched in 1997, Merry Maids of East Yorkshire currently provides domestic cleaning services to over 161 clients across Beverley and East Yorkshire. With a staff of 20 maids, some of whom have been with the company for over 10 years, the business is committed to providing high quality cleaning services.
A franchise of Merry Maids UK, the East Yorkshire business is owned and operated by Vanessa Barley and her father, Bob Smith. The company has received numerous awards for its achievement within the Merry Maids franchise network and in 2012 received The Award of Excellence, the highest honour for a Merry Maids franchise.
